A little about me…
Super Bowl LIV - Miami, FL - January 2020
Born and raised in Seattle, I always fancied myself an athlete first and foremost. Well, if this page is any indication, my NBA & NFL dreams are merely that, and now I find myself in the unique position of being able to tell elaborate stories for a living.
My career - at least the focal point of it - started at the tail end of 2011. Hired as a Forum Moderator for Age of Empires Online, I quickly found myself moving up the ranks of Community Management throughout various studios.
343 Industries, PlayXBLA, Launchworks, and even a stint with HoloLens, my CM chops have been put to the test, and my mettle has strengthened through it all.
In 2016 I was given the opportunity to represent Killer Instinct at E3, presenting to the world on gaming’s biggest stage. Little did I know that this singular public speaking event would kick off a whirlwind tour of speaking engagements on behalf of the Xbox brand.
Fast forward to 2021. Pandemic aside, this new chapter of my career has been one of the most entertaining highlights of life. Who knew that public speaking was a tangible skill?
Since becoming a host, I’ve found myself interviewing the likes of Vin Diesel, Chris Evans, Usain Bolt, and even The Rock. These interviews had me traveling through the US, UK, Germany, Jamaica, and as far as South Africa to make it happen.
So, for now, freelance hosting is my main focus, but Comunity Management always has a special place in my heart.
Where does life head now? Who knows, but I am along for the ride.
